Nubaroo new personal best - 400M @ 12.56 seconds

Post by Nubaroo »

:D :D :D :D
Ran my personal best with the Daewoo at Nitro Raceway today - managed a 12.56 sec 400meter and took first place in the 4CF class!! Good thing the REALLY fast cars were not there LOL!!!! Now to get an LSD and bring the times down some more

Image

Had some problems with the F23 selecting 2nd gear at Nitro and then later tonight at The rock Raceway battled to get 2nd again a few times - Steven from JMS adjusted my cable linkages and now I am getting gears 100% :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: cannot wait for the next 400M event - thanks Steve!!!

Thanks bud - yes I was running my Mickey Tompson ET Drag slicks :D :D :D Man these tires are so gentle on the drive train when you launch the car - super smooth launch and even when snapshifting to 2nd they just dampen the Whack on the drivetrain soooo much :D :D :D

Gonna look at going from 8" to 10" ones soon :D :D :D - PS. my 60Ft times were 2.1 secs which is apparently not too bad for the airfield we race on - traction not too good there

Nice run man, 120mph is considered to be getting pretty fast here! Glad to hear the F23 is holding up so far. How do you find the gearing and ratios?

Hi Bud.

Gear ratios are slightly longer through the gears than the f18, and this helps a lot with traction off the line. If I can get the car to the rev limiter in 5th gear I should top out at 280KM/H true speed

I don`t really wanna go that fast LOL

Good Job, glad to see the slicks are doing their job and giving you some traction for a change.

Shave another 0.57 seconds and you're into the 11's

   Thanks bud - going to our ODI track on the 26/27 June which is a proper race track and I am sure it will be prepped. Will see how the car runs there .

PS - I noticed at the airfield track that most of the rear-wheel drive and faster cars were even running around 2.2 to 2.3 sec 60ft times...where the daewoo ran a 2.1sec 60ft???? But then again I was launching off the line with the MT`s and launch control at round 2bar boost

Kind regards

Hannes
