So wait, you had the car up on a hoist? and you were testing this?
You might want to add that into your explinations, thats a HUGE thing, your car must be under load for the transmission to work properly.

Don't know why you would replace the fuel pump....oil and filter are usually good things for maintenance.

You might want to check your tranny fluid, if its low the converter can do freeky things.

seems like a TCM issue still, did the ones you replaced it with work properly?

I'm selling my spare engine and 5 speed transmission.
they have about 86 xxx KM on them.

Does anyone know of a way ( hopefully multi meter) to test the CPS....and what the readings should be? I don't have a oscilloscope and i need to know if my Cps is bad...
