Re: Help needed - Daewoo Lanos 1.6

Hi there guys :D Had the Corsa back on the Dyno today. This time we were running her at 1 bar boost on 95Octane pump fuel with NFRace Ocktane booster(6Ron) The grapg speaks for itself - this is power on the wheels  http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/aa147/Nubaroo/Corsa1800at1barboost.jpg Will...

Re: Help needed - Daewoo Lanos 1.6

Hi Guys. I chose to stay with the small block in order to utilise the existing parts as is...otherwise it would have been almost a complete rebuild for everything 8) Had the car on the dyno - still makes 160KW/298NM on the wheels with the 1800 setup....BUT now that power is delivered at 0.8bar boost...

what sort of boost were you running?
Ha ha yes but it was the RPM that made it give up the ghost not the boost - was only running 0.9bar

The bottom cap came off the conrod....

Re: Turbo Optra - New Direction and different setup

Hi bud - good luck with the Lexus!! As for the Optra - sounds like a very good idea to convert to a more drivable car - I am sure you will still enjoy every moment with it. I am also buiding a smaller 200WHP Opel Corsa running a TD04H turbo on a 1600 Daewoo motor - again looking at reliabillity and ...

Re: Specs of all the turbo projects

Well its making a little more now. Around 325kw or 435hp ATFW's. Which is about 395kw's or 525hp at the flywheel. There's more in it but i need bigger injectors which are coming. Boost is well under 2.5bar.RPM's are limited to 8000rpm. Major limiting factors are the oil pump (thinking of going to a...

Re: Help needed - Daewoo Lanos 1.6

wow that's insane is the dicktator computer a south africa special? Yes it is manufactured here in South Africa. But it is a very reliable system and fairly easy to install and tune - Google Dicktator and have a look at their website ;) PS fitted some 450cc Bosch injectors in the CorsaWoo so we are...

Re: NUBIRA PERFORMANCE PARTS

haha yes, Benzino and AussieGMan are a couple guys from Oz that have ordered from me before. I can get pretty much anything that you would want or I'll do what I have to to make a product for you. Now we are talking - get that man some "go Fast Bits" to teach those Skylines and Commodores a lesson ...

But the 1.6 likes boost my brother lanos with just 8psi makes 193whp and 190wtq 11.9a/f ratio with stock internals, stock exhaust manifold in other words all stock just a td04l, 315cc fuel injectors, apex (a/f tunning). I think that this engines are capable of making much more power with some upgra...

Re: Specs of all the turbo projects

Hi AussieGman - nice ride and like Benzino says...well pretty much everything looks awesome! What boost you running bud - with all the work you have done on the engine I was surprised to see only 280KW at the wheels so I am assuming you are running fairly low boost I am guessing around 1 to 1.2 bar?...
