group buy headers

Post by gse_turbo »

hey all it looks like there is a pretty good request for a group buy on 1.6 long headers. is anyone here interested in a 4-2-1 header for their lanos?
gse_turbo wrote:OK I've got a prototype pretty much finished up, I sell the flanges and I work with a shop that manufactures small runs of header. I guess what I'm getting at is that all the pieces are there... WOULD YOU GUYS BE INTERESTED IN A GROUP BUY!?

the price is really up to the shop making them and how many people are in the buy but I'd guess around $450-$550 ready to bolt in.

...one last thing, DON"T USE HONDA HEADERS! the primary tubes are way too small, you'll be restriccting the motors potential.

the daewoos work better with back pressure

if u want to keep increasing the tubes its best to turbo if not its totally pointless

I would be considering the cost and benefits... I have no plans for turbo-ing my 1.6... then again I just got it last week!
