Catalytic Converter

Post by Aneab »

I need to find both catalytic converters for my 99 nubira (need the one off of the exahust manifold, and the one located down past the downpipe.)

One is cracked the other has dented piping all around it from an acciedent months ago... Need to get it repaired...

The second cat is pretty Universal. Just get the sizes that you need and order it off ebay. The first one is a bit rough.

no it doesn't, if you have one of these tell me =)

as long as it's a 98 or 99, with a 2.0L it will be the same part.

I have a nubira, so it's way different than the aveo ones... =(

not sure how legal straight piping it would be from the manifold down to the second cat... On cars in the US isn't the first catalytic converter the primary source of emission reduction?
