Are you satisfied with the Toyo tyres?

Well, I must admit I was expecting a little more from these tires. When it's pretty hot outside and I push the car a little to the limits, they don't seem to have the grip I was expecting. They skid somehow a lot, they are not "glued" to the tarmac.

I bought CF1 tires for my other car, a Renault Megane 2 and I want to see the differences between them.

By the way, why do you ask about the tires? I know you have different ones.

This is how my car looks now. I am just repairing what I did in summer with a hammer.

I put larger wheels and the rear fenders needed a little adjustment.

As my specialist was working on them I suggested we do all the body imperfections, including one from a small incident 2 years ago, on the front door.

I'll be back with the paint job.

I was just curious, thanks for your impression. I have Toyo R888 - the best tyres I have ever had - despite the "lifetime" is only 6000 kilometres.

I really like your Nexia, specially your engine hood, the way it comes over the headlights. Would you post some detailed fotos with it? I'd like to see the gap between the headlights and the hood, as it comes over them.

Ivan, your car would look even cooler with a pair of clear headlights, like those:

Dear Lao, thank you - I know that my Nexia should look better with those headlights, but I can't buy it in the Czech Republic. I'll be happy, you can send it to me from Romania. Is it possible, please?

Today I got my car from the painter. Now it's all back to normal, again. All the rust from the back fenders was removed and all the imperfections of the body as well.

)

Now I'm happy.

Today it was competition day for me.

One of the auto clubs in my town organised a mini-circuit on a parking lot. Here you can see me in action, LOL. Later I will post some pictures with some other cars that I had to race with.

There were 3 classes:

A. under 1400 cmc
B. between 1400-1800cmc
C. above 1800cmc (including turbo ones)

Times were like this:

General standings:

1. Subaru Impreza - 1'.05".04
2. VW Golf II (rally prepared) - 1'.05".76
3. Daewoo Nexia (me) - 1'.05".86

So, if I accelerated harder in 1 or 2 turns...

I'll get back with foto and maybe 1-2 movies.
