Re: BMW 335i 430HP just got killed by a Daewoo Lanos MF!
Cool bud F23 is awesome - you can get these easily, and the cable shift works much more positive than the old linkages 8) 8) Only thing is the LSD from the F28 wont fit :( Just be careful of which F23 you get - there are quite a few variations out there, including the V6 ones that wont work on the 2...

Re: Nubaroo - drive train broken AGAIN!!
Car is all better now :D :D :D I have decided that i will only use high boost on race days when I am running full slicks and on dyno days. When we run the 200m drags I will launch without launch control and only switch to high boost when I hook 3rd gear. These roads here is South Africa is crappy in...

Re: Nubaroo@ The Rock 1/8mile races 12 September 2010
Very good news man! Glad to hear you didn't blow anything too. Are you liking the F23 overall? That might be my next transmission if the F28 gives out. Hi there bud. The F23 is nice and strong - also the cable shift type selectors are much smoother than the linkage ones. Also the F28 boxes and thei...

Re: Nubaroo@ The Rock 1/8mile races 12 September 2010
Sounds like great fun, I wish I could be beating cars like that, unfortunately the megasquirt is giving me problems ( poor assembly by supplier ) Given it's getting cold already, I don't think I will have enough time to fix it before the last track day :( Sorry to hear about ur trouble bud - hope y...

Nubaroo@ The Rock 1/8mile races 12 September 2010
The Daewoo surprises me more and more every time we go there 8) 8) 8) Had a few runs against "slow" cars just for fun. Then got asked for a run by a MK2 Jetta that was kicking some serious butt - I was scared   launching in 2nd gear at 2.5bar boost he sat next to me till end of 2nd gea...

Re: Nubaroo new personal best - 400M @ 12.2 secs!!!
is tarlton far from you? Hi Bud - Tarlton is about 70KM from my place so it is worth popping out there I suppose. I must just get there on a race day when the track is prepared.....a lot of race days they don't prepare the track and then traction is worse than at the airfield   :shock...

Re: Nubaroo new personal best - 400M @ 12.2 secs!!!
For sure with all that you could get 125mph and with some good 60' like 1.8 for sure you run 11 seconds We are running on an airfield that gets loaned to us one Sunday per month....so the traction is not the greatest. On this airfield track my best ever 60ft time was 2.0 secs running my Mickey Tomp...
