Hi guys. Just picked up a Lanos 1.6 turbo motor from Wolfhound in Durban this weekend. The motor has been built right - Wiseco forged pistons, Cometic headgaket and all the turbo stuff needed to run a respectable 200wheel horse power. I am just curious - the engine is still using standard Lanos 1.6 ...

I managed a 12.6sec pass on more or less the same power running semislicks, so go for it you should get 12`s with semis

Just stumbled across this clip. I am running against a Toyota from one of our biggest tuners here in SA. The Toyota makes around 600KW on the rear wheels

Had the daewoo back on the Dyno. It made 353KW/565NM at 2.5 bar boost. There was a missfire on higher RPM which caused the power to be a bit down - you can hear it near the end of the run. Will redo the power run early this week and repost
